Residential and Farm Service
A. Application.
Applicable to all Customers taking the type of service described in this rate schedule for all of the electric service supplied at one point of delivery and measured through one meter used for the following purposes(s):
- For domestic uses associated with the operation of a single family residential installation (which may include small amounts of commercial, farming, and ranching usage incidental to residential usage);
- Where more than one housekeeping unit or apartment is served through one meter, billing will be under the applicable commercial rate.
Not applicable to temporary or shared service.
B. Type of Service.
At available primary or secondary distribution voltages, where available. Where service of the type desired by Customer is not already available at the point of delivery, additional charges under the Cooperative’s line extension policy and special contract arrangements may be required prior to service being furnished.
C. Monthly Rate.
Each billing period the Customer shall be obligated to pay the following charges:
- Customer Charge: $20.00 per meter This charge is for the availability of electric service. and
- Energy Charge: $0.087696 per kWh
This charge for the delivery of energy shall be applied to all kWh usage during each billing period.
D. Minimum Charge.
Each billing period the Customer shall be obligated to pay the following charges as a minimum, whether or not any energy is actually used:
- The customer charge
and - Any amount authorized under the Cooperative’s line extension policy for amortization of line extension costs.
E. Billing Adjustments.
This rate is subject to all billing adjustments.
F. Agreement.
If a line extension is required in order to provide service to a consumer, an agreement for electric service with a fixed term may be required by the Cooperative. This rate schedule may be changed by order or consent of regulatory authorities having jurisdiction or, if none, by the Cooperative’s board of directors; service hereunder is subject to the Cooperative’s tariff for electric service.
