Floodlighting Service

Application

Available for service supplied for general floodlighting of outdoor areas by means of either metal halide or sodium vapor lamps installed in floodlight luminaries. Lamps will be operated by photo-electric control to provide lighting service from dusk to dawn or approximately 4,000 hours per year.

Type of Service.

Single-phase service at the Cooperative’s standard secondary distribution voltages.

The charges for overhead and underground service for added poles are based on using 100 feet of cable/cable duct per light. The Customer will be responsible for all trenching and backfilling on floodlights served underground.

Added pole installation requiring pole spans in excess of 100 feet, cable or cable duct of a larger size, or facilities not listed will require Customer contribution for the excess incurred.

Billing Adjustments.

This rate is subject to all applicable billing adjustments. Billing adjustments each billing period shall be on the estimated kWh use shown above.

Agreement.

If a line extension is required in order to provide service to a consumer, an agreement for electric service with a fixed term or contribution in aid to construction may be required by the Cooperative. This rate schedule may be changed by order or consent of regulatory authorities having jurisdiction, or if none, by the Cooperative’s board of directors; service hereunder is subject to the Cooperative’s tariff for electric service.

Vandalism.

Cooperative reserves the right to stop billing and remove from service any flood lighting service that becomes a frequent target of vandalism.
